For those that follow the drum corps activity, you probably have heard about Boston Crusaders keyboard player Anna Eberhart recently. She’s a very emotive performer, to say the very least. This is the latest press her now viral performance has received – in People Magazine. As of July 13, a one-minute video of her performance at Cranston, RI had been viewed over 3 MILLION times (or so I’ve been told). It’s been seen around the world including the UK, Japan and South Africa. I was in Cranston, Rhode Island and I too, saw her perform. It was just awesome to watch her feel the emotion of what she was playing and sharing it with her audience.
I think it’s awesome every time a drum corps kid lets go and gives you everything they have inside. What greater gift can there be than to share a talent with your whole heart?
On rare occasion, I capture that raw emotion and I delight in each frame that I see. Thinking about Ms. Eberhart and her new found spotlight, I share with you some other DCI performers who give it their all.
Is this a great activity or what?!
