So I live in a word of technology. For 20+ years, I have depended heavily on computers for work and personal living.

The last month has been nightmare-ish.

Why?

My desktop crashed. I lost EVERYTHING. No, I did not have a backup of all the important things. Lesson learned, again.

I’m finally back on line today and catching up. I’m relearning how to set up Outlook and all my other depended upon programs. Email addresses, contacts, websites – you name it – I’m scrambling to catch up. Forgive me if I’m late to respond to messages. Forgive me if I missed an important this or that. I have a new desktop computer and Surface tablet plugged in and on line. I have things stored in 2 places now. I have a 2TB backup drive purring away as I piece things back together. I’m learning windows 8.1 – (ugh, I hate it thus far).

While computers crashing isn’t hard enough, I’ve also been through 2 weeks of laser eye procedures to address a narrow-angle glaucoma diagnosis, a condition if left untreated, robs you of your eyesight in a very short period of time. Happy to say I’m on the mending side of those treatments and all appears well.

So, this past month has been a bit odd for me. If I’ve missed you – please don’t take personally. While computers crashing was hard enough to limp along with, I really needed to focus (pun intended) on my eyesight.

Sorry folks. I’m back on line and promise, I will catch up with each of you!

p.s. Is it spring yet? I’m really tired of this cold.
